Welcome to the First Baptist Church Website. I'm glad you stopped by. We are a conservative Southern Baptist Church where all people are encouraged, equipped, and empowered to bring positive and biblical solutions to a lost world and to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with the world.
As the pastor of First Baptist Church Marlin, I am blessed to be a part of such a loving church family. We have a great group of believers genuinely united in Christian love. We purpose to be the church and not simply attend one. As Christ loves us we seek to follow His example in loving. I would love the opportunity to visit with you, whether it be here at the church, or the place of your choosing.
We are excited to be growing both in number, in our relationships with Jesus Christ, and with each other. We hold firmly to the truth of the Holy Bible and seek to follow it's teachings.
We are a church family for everyone, children, youth, adults, senior adults, broken-hearted, lonely, joyful, sorrowful, imperfect, hilarious, boring, doubtful, confident, shy.... no matter who you are or where you've been, more than likely some of us may have been there too.
So, come and join us in experiencing God’s love through praise, worship, and the relevant study of God’s Word. Whether you’re married, single, divorced, or in transition, you will find friends here.
